The Jackaroo Experience

Staying at the Jackaroo is all about the unique, fun experience you'll have meeting us and other travellers from all around the world. Its about having a place to relax and socialise, getting out and seeing the city around you, and being part of our family for the time you're with us. We would love for you to join our fun, relaxed and friendly atmosphere.

The Jackaroo Hostel

Both Jackaroo hostels are very clean and comfortable. They are also very different and very unique buildings with all the features you are looking for. You'll find large common areas to chill out with other guests, friendly staff and a great atmosphere. We've taken care of all the small things as well, and made sure everything is nice and clean. We also have free internet, and free wifi, which is unheard of in Australia.

What's Happening

Our motto is 'Get Involved', and that's exactly what we want you do. Both Jackaroo hostels are packed with fun and exciting events and activities every day to entertain you and encourage everyone to get to know other travellers. Get involved in the fun games, quiz nights, competitions, BBQ's, sporting events,and other fun nights out and we can guarantee everyone will have a good time. We are also famous for our FWF nights. If you don't know what that is, you soon will!!

Who are We?

We are a very close family (literally, Rob, Jade and Raquel are all siblings, with the addition of Tom, the welshman), working together to make the Jackaroo the best Hostel you have ever stayed in. We are always around to help you with any questions and to enjoy the great atmosphere together.
